Beginner-friendly R meta-analysis package for routine meta-analyses and forest plots.
meta is a general-purpose R meta-analysis package for fixed- and random-effects meta-analysis, subgroup analysis, sensitivity analysis, meta-regression, cumulative meta-analysis, publication bias tests and trim-and-fill analysis. It can produce forest plots, funnel plots, Galbraith plots, Baujat plots and other common figures.

Note: The meta package is easier to pick up than metafor and suits beginners doing routine paper analyses; for complex models it can be used alongside metafor.
